Il 13° Gp della stagione si è corso all’interno del bellissimo impianto dell’Eurospeedway del Lausitzring. La pista molto tecnica e il caldo infernale hanno dato del filo da torcere ai piloti.

Il team Ricci Racing durante la pausa ha continuato a lavorare insieme ai suoi piloti per migliorare i risultati.

Ivo Monticelli si presenta a questa gara in condizione fisiche precarie che lo limiteranno per tutto il fine settimana. Nella qualifica del sabato, Ivo è riuscito a partire bene, ma alla prima curva è stato rallentato perdendo diverse posizioni; Monticelli con una buona condotta di gara ha recuperato fino alla 19° posizione. Purtroppo nelle due manche domenicali Ivo ha cercato di spingere il più possible, ma a causa della sua condizione fisica precaria è stato costretto al ritiro in entrambe le manche.

Nella manche di qualifica, Tanel si è ritirato a causa di un piccolo problema. Il pilota estone partendo dall’ultimo cancello ha affontato una gara tutta in salita. Nella prima gara è partito subito fortissimo e con un ritmo incredibile è riuscito a scalare la classifica concludendo in 14° posizione. Nella seconda heat Tanel Leok ha di nuovo messo in mostra una buonissima velocità e soprattutto una grande forma fisica, Tanel con un ritmo incredibile è riuscito a concludere in 15° posizione. Una buona performance che fa ben sperare per le prossime gare.

Nel campionato Europeo 125 sono scesi in pista Lorenzo Ravera e Filippo Zonta, i due giovani piloti hanno fatto fatica ad adattarsi ad una pista così difficile finendo in classifica generale al 28° posto Lorenzo e al 31° Filippo.

Prossimo appuntamento tra una settimana in Repubblica Ceca a Loket.

“E’ stato un GP da dimenticare. Ivo è arrivato in condizioni fisiche a dir poco disastrose. Dopo appena dieci minuti di gara non ce la faceva più e si è dovuto fermare entrambe le manche. Tanel non so cosa gli succeda, non riesce a prendere il ritmo e pure lui è lontano con l’allenamento. Speriamo negli ultimi GP di fare qualche buon risultato perchè ne abbiamo bisogno tutti.”

“Oggi è stato un GP molto difficile perchè, per la prima volta abbiamo avuto un caldo strano e molto afoso e fisicamente ne ho risentito molto. Oggi non sono partito bene nella prima gara ma stavo rimontando bene ma mi sono fermato perchè proprio non ne avevo più. In gara due mi sono toccato con un’altro e mi si è aperta la leva del freno. Ho provato a continuare ma la mia gara è finita lì.”

“Ho sofferto tantissimo il caldo afoso. Con la moto mi trovo bene anche se c’è sempre qualcosa da migliorare. Il fatto che non riesco a trovare il ritmo gara che sono solito avere. Questo mi innervosisce e mi condiziona il rendimento. Spero di trovare la soluzione già da Loket e regalare qualche buon risultato al mio Team.”

The 13th round of the 2013 season took place on the fantastic Eurospeedway circuit of Lausitzring. The very technical track and the hot weather gave all the riders a hard time. During the break, Ricci Racing Team kept on working hard to improve results.

Ivo Monticelli wasn’t at his physical top form. In the mx2 Qualifying Race, Ivo had a good start but at the first bend he lost some positions, recovering then until the 19th place.

Unfortunately, on Sunday, in both races Ivo tried to push as much as possible but he was obliged to abandon twice because of his physical conditions.

In the mx1 Qualifying race, Tanel Leok was forced to abandon the race. On Sunday, in the first race, Tanel was very fast and thanks to a great pace, he succeeded in climbing the classification finishing 14th. In the second manche, Leok still showed a good speed, an impressive pace and, above all, great physical conditions and he finished 15th. In the 125 European Championship, Lorenzo Ravera and Filippo Zonta had some troubles adjusting to such a difficult track, finishing respectively 28th and 31st. The next GP is taking place next weekend in Loket, Czech Republic.

“I’m not satisfied with this GP. Ivo’s physical conditions were terrible: after ten minutes he was exhausted and he abandoned twice. I don’t know what’s happening to Tanel: he isn’t at his top form too. I hope in the last GPs to obtain some good results”.

“Today it was a very difficult GP because for the first time we suffered from a hot and sultry weather that affected me physically speaking. I didn’t start well in the first race but I was catching up positions when I was forced to abandon because I was exhausted. In the second race, I had a contact with another rider damaging the brake lever. I tried to keep on riding but I was forced to abandon”.

“I suffered a lot because of the sultry weather. I have a good feeling with the bike but there’s still something to improve. I can’t find the pace I used to have. This makes me nervous and affects my performance. I hope to find a solution in Loket and to give some good result to my Team”.
