GRAN PRIX OF ITALY AUTODROMO DI IMOLA -17/18 AGOSTO 2019

Start Time – Stanno terminando i preparativi per il quindicesimo round del Campionato del Mondo FIM di Motocross MXGP 2019, il Gran Premio d’Italia, che si terrà il prossimo fine settimana nel prestigioso autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari di Imola, trasformato per l’occasione per accogliere il paddock della MXGP con tutti i suoi protagonisti. In gara, oltre agli assi della classe regina, ci saranno i giovani della MX2, le ragazze del Campionato del Mondo FIM WMX, che insieme ai piloti del Campionato Europeo due tempi, disputeranno la penultima prova dei rispettivi campionati ed i protagonisti della prima ed unica tappa del Mondiale della FIM E-XBIKE World Cup.

Preparations will be soon completed for the FIM Motocross MXGP World Championship fifteenth round, the GP of Italy, to be held next weekend inside the prestigious “Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari” in Imola. For this event especially, the circuit has been transformed to host the MXGP Paddock and its protagoinists. Other than top-riders from the main class, there will be also racing the young MX2 riders, all the girls fighting for the FIM WMX World Championship at their second-last round as well as those participants of the “2 strokes” European Championship. Ready to race are also those protagonists of the first and unique event of the FIM E-XBIKE World Cup. 

Spettacolo garantito quindi in quella che è da sempre una delle cornici  più suggestive, sia in termini di fascino che di bellezza. La pista e le aree riservate al pubblico, inclusa la straordinaria tribuna, sorgono infatti sulle colline del parco delle acqua Minerali e sulla collina Rivazza, dando modo agli spettatori di godere di un’ottima visibilità e del confort di un impianto permanente ed importante come quello di un autodromo moderno ed accogliente. All’interno del Museo Multimediale dell’autodromo di Imola sarà anche possibile visitare la straordinaria mostra “Ayrton Magico, l’anima oltre i limiti” una mostra unica, che trasporterà il visitatore attraverso un percorso emozionale.

 

The show must be taken for granted where the sorround is one of the most evocative and fascinating in the world. Track and those areas reserved to public, including the extraordinary stand, are located in the “Acque Minerali” Park and Rivazza Hill, with the possibility for spectators to get a great view, other than those typical comforts of permanent structures as such an important hosting circuit like Imola. Inside the Autodrome there is also theMultimedia Museum: it will be possible to visit the exposition “Ayrton Magico, l’anima oltre i limiti”, an emotional tour for the visitors.

Lo spettacolo delle gare dovrebbe continuare anche dopo le celebrazioni sul podio, che potrebbero vedere Tim Gajser aggiudicarsi il terzo titolo di Campione del Mondo di Motocross, il secondo della classe MXGP. Lo sloveno ha infatti centrato il nono successo stagionale nel precedente round del Belgio, allungando in classifica generale a +187 punti sul secondo, portandosi ad un soffio dalla conquista del titolo. In un’intervista post gara il campione della HRC ha dichiarato: “Se devo essere onesto, sono davvero felice di non aver vinto qui. Forse vincerò la prossima settimana in Italia… È un GP di casa della squadra. È molto vicino alla Slovenia e ci aspettiamo molti fan lì. Penso che sia un buon posto per concludere l’inseguimento al titolo.”

 

The race show could be continued even after the podium celebration, that may see Tim Gajser win his third Motocross World Champion title, the second one in MXGP class. The Slovenian rider gained his nineth seasonal victory during last Belgian round: his lead is now characterized by 187 standing points from the second one and allows him to be very close to the title. During a post-race interview the HRC rider declared “To be honest, I’m really happy not to have win the title here. I will probably win next week in Italy, it is my team’s home GP and it’s very close to Slovenia, so we’re waiting for many fans there. I think it can be a nice place where to conclude  the run for the title”.

Dopo la quattordicesima prova, nella quale ha conquistato il tredicesimo successo stagionale, anche Jorge Prado ha fatto un decisivo passo avanti verso la conquista del secondo titolo iridato consecutivo in MX2 e chissà che il pubblico di Imola non lo veda trionfare nuovamente sulla pista del Santerno, ad un anno esatto dal suo primo iride. Il giovane galiziano ha ora un vantaggio di 124 lunghezze sul danese Olsen (Husqvarna Rockstar Energy), che in Belgio ha perso ben 34 punti dalla tabella rossa della KTM Red Bull Factory Racing.

 

After the 14th round, Jorge Prado gained his thirteen seasonal success and made an important step towards the victory of his second and consecutive world title in MX2: it may happen again that the public of Imola will see him win along the Santerno river, exactly one year later his first title. Actually, the young Spanish rider is leading with 124 points over the Danish Olsen (Husqvarna Rockstar Energy), who lost many points in Belgium against the red table holder of KTM Red Bull Factory Racing.

Per accogliere al meglio i tanti tifosi che si recheranno ad Imola per vivere due giorni di intenso Sport ed agonismo,  gli organizzatori hanno previsto un unico tagliando di accesso, che darà la possibilità al pubblico di posizionarsi in qualunque delle zone predisposte per assistere all’evento, ad eccezione della zona paddock, accesso che dovrà essere acquistato separatamente. Non saranno richiesti dunque biglietti aggiuntivi per accedere alla mitica Tribuna Rivazza!

 

Organizers have established a unique ticket, in order to host all the fans going to Imola for these two exciting and intensive race-days. Spectators will be able to stay wherever in the pubilc areas, excpet from the Paddock zone, where an extra ticket is needed to enter. No extra fee will be so requested to stay on the Rivazza Stand!

Restando in tema di novità, per l’edizione 2019 è stata predisposta una zona adibita a parcheggio camper/roulotte/tenda direttamente dentro l’autodromo e adiacente al paddock piloti, per vivere l’esperienza del GP d’Italia a 360 gradi!

 

A novelty for 2019 edition will be the area dedicated to the camper/roulotte/tent parking directly inside the autodrome and next to the riders paddock, to fully live the the GP of Italy experience!
